Glass ceilings, self-doubt, gender stereotypes, or perhaps just some dishes?
Whatever tickles your smash-fantasy, we hope that you’ll bring it to Simply Smashing, an UnGala in support of G Day, on Saturday June 1 at The Pace in Vancouver!
Our goal is to launch an online leadership program in 2020 that will enable us to scale beyond the 5 Canadian cities where G Day has taken place 10 times and welcomed over 2,000 people. Let’s do this! Raise money for a fantastic cause AND smash stuff: what could be better?
When: Saturday June 1st, 5-9pm
Venue: The Pace, 520 Alexander Street, Vancouver BC V6A 1C7 (unceded Coast Salish Territory)
Dress code: Tiaras, jeans, sequined tops, feather boas and/or safety boots – whatever makes you feel special and slightly dangerous. Safety goggles will be provided to all Smashers.
Who: Adult G Day supporters of all ages and genders are most welcome
What: Breaking things, ping pong, DJ, surprises. Amazing people.
Please: If you can’t make it but want to support us regardless, click here to donate. If you care to donate to this worthy cause, either now or at the event, donations over $20 will be issued tax receipts (United Girls of the World Society, G Day’s parent organization, is a registered charity).
RSVP: Tickets are $50 each and includes food, beverages and use of safety goggles. Plates will be available for a donated fee, or BYO.
Click here to get tickets and see you there!
G Day wishes to gratefully and respectfully acknowledge Women Breaking Plates for the inspiration behind Simply Smashing
